Toowoomba Royal Show Grand Champion of Paintings 2023 has been awarded to Bruce Griffiths for his stunning watercolour piece, “Reflections”. The painting, measuring 73×53, captivated judges with its exquisite use of colour and masterful brushwork, making it a clear standout in the competition. The win marks a second consecutive year of success for Griffiths, who took out the same award in 2022. Art on the Barron Inc. is excited to present its art spectacular for 2022. A week of art in Mareeba, located in beautiful Far North Queensland, featuring 5-day workshops by 5 esteemed artists. Monday 5 to Friday 9 September 2022 at the Cedric Davies Community Hub, 43 Anzac Avenue, Mareeba. 

TAS ARTIST & TUTOR BRUCE GRIFFITHS is 1 of 35 sites opening their studios up to the public as part of the Instudio Art Trail during August 2022. The sites are between Highfields and Crows Nest. While Bruce encourages everyone to visit the assorted sites, his studio is open on the weekends 13 & 14th, 20 & 21st, 27 & 28th August 2022 from 10am – 4pm only each day.
